REV: Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum

Hello handsome and beautiful! I'm pretty recent haze issue has kept you all reminded how staying hydrated is very essential. No doubt myself and some of us do take it for granted...the result? Definitely you're visiting doctor for some medicine...unless you're doctor yourself...lol

This time I'll be sharing my thoughts about using the special serum by Innisfree.

All of us know, this brand is famous with having Korean artist with angelic face, Yoona and smoking hot Lee Min Ho! But, the fact behind why they expanding fast all around the world not just because they have both artist, but it is because of their go-green products!

Let's talk about the product I'm featuring today shall we? The moment I was introduce to this Green Tea Seed Serum, I thought the bottle would be a glass! Instead, it was a recyclable plastic bottle...ok, suit the go-green brand really well.

I've been using facial serum for a very long, this is my first time encounter a serum that actually contained in a plastic bottle...Honestly, this wass a little turn off as I always thought serum suppose to be more solid packed as the "serum" inside is much richer in ingredients...but is ok~ just my humble thought.

The green tea seed serum

Its Ingredients
The green Tea Extract (75.9%), Propanediol, Biosaccharide Gum-1, Ethanol, Glycerin, Betaine, The green Tea Seed Oil (208mg), Prickly Pear Extract, Orchid Extract, Tangerine Peel Extract, Camellia Leaf Extract, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia Extract, Grapefruit Extract, Orange Extract, Tangerine Extract, Bis-PEG-18 Methyl Ether Dimethyl Silane, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Cetearyl Olivate, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Sorbitan Olivate, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Ethylhexylglycerin, Cocoa Extract, Dextrin, Potassium Hydroxide, Disodium EDTA, Fragrance
And...its 5-free system too! Free from parabens, synthetic colorants, mineral oil, animal-originated ingredients and imdazolidinyl urea. Amazing isn't it?

What can this serum do?
Basically, the biggest difference between a serum and a cream or lotion is what the formulation doesn't include. Serums leave out occlusive, or airtight, moisturizing ingredients such as petrolatum or mineral oil that keep water from evaporating. They also contain fewer lubricating and thickening agents, like nut or seed oils. Most serums are water-based, eliminating oils altogether.

When I hands on this serum all the way from Jeju Island, which also formulated with green tea  seed extract, somehow, it doesn't feels like any other serum, or at least, this serum are more watery to begin with.

As you can see, the serum came out to be slightly transparent. When you spread it out on the skin, it has a slippery, thin consistency. It absorbs fairly quickly with a bit of patting. The fragrance was very citruses, refreshing and cooling with a kick of green tea fragrance. I was told that this product has high contains of alcohol,so...those who have sensitive skin should think twice about getting this serum.

My Verdicts
Texture: 5/10, light textured,
Fragrance: 6/10. Very strong smell of citruses, which also very refreshing.
Packaging: 5/10. Eco friendly.
Effectiveness: 5/10.
Price: MYR RM 112.24 (http://www.innisfreeworld.com/)

After seeing the price, I personally think that this product is best suit people around the age of 15-25 years old. What do you think?

Hugs,
