TRAVEL: EASTERN EUROPE 10 DAYS 9 NIGHTS - SPENT ONLY $2700 (SGD ALL IN) - PART 3 - END

Hey reader! Before you continue reading, you may consider about reading my previous posts then head over again to check out how do I end this trip with some blast...or maybe not...

The sequels of my previous blog post as per below,

Part 1: Budapest

It takes about 4 hours of train ride from Vienna to Prague. Reaching to Prague, the weather is a little wet but it is way better than dry and windy. Since it is only drizzling, we start exploring the town right after we dump our luggage... People of Prague are beautiful too...the boys looks polished from head to toe while the girls have this model like features...I can sit here all day long admiring their people...

From day 1(one) till I'm here at Prague, the feeling is better at Prague. At least, the people aren't  nasty to us. First, they mind their own business, they shown the elegant side, educated and also, dress well...

The whole day has been wet! Jesus...

As weather forecast on the phone, its gonna be sunny and windy tomorrow... We decided to head back earlier after we wander around the Old Town Square. Is not fun walking on wet surface (roll eyes). Since we back to our nest earlier, we came up a few places that we can visit since its gonna be sunny tomorrow. The places are;

1. Old Town Square
2. Prague Castle
3. Charles Bridge

As forecasted, it is a good good day! The vivid blue sky, cotton candy clouds and the sun! what a lovely day to begin our exploration!

After our hearty breakfast which also located within walking distance from our nest, we hop over the Old Town Square. This place housed many attractions like their old building and church, souvenir shops and restaurants...

The next stop, we will be visiting Prague Castle.

TAKE NOTE: It can be really crowded. We randomly stop by some pop up souvenirs shop to see if we can good rate of the souvenirs...

Then continue our journey to the castle...

Yeah, that's about all of the Prague Castle and we will be heading over to Charles Bridge which also connect to this castle. Just required a little of walking...

For Charles Bridge, they place statues along the bridge. This bridge serve as the connection between the Old Town and New Town and standing over the Vltava River.

The statues all has name and take your sweet time reading and see if they enlighten you or not... There's also many artists sketching on the bridge and you can get their help if you want something different...

As soon as we reached to Charles Bridge, the weather somehow turn sorrowful... strong wind start blowing and the the artists start packing to leave the bridge... As for us, we have to find shelter at some souvenir store and thanks God, the rain just stop within minutes.

There go our day trip around Prague...

There's a cafe seems worth visiting in Prague called Louvre Cafe. We had our dinner here but it doesn't taste as it sound... ambient wise are fine, but the seating area are a little to close to each other. One thing I like about this cafe is their set up... Anyway, I'm hungry and I did not take any interior shot, you check out their web page for more info beh! ---> Link ( Louvre Cafe )

After our dinner, we re-visit the Charles Bridge again as we just don't wanna miss out anything worth seeing and testing out iPhone 11 Promax night scene...

So that's the Prague experiences we had and it was awesome by far...Except the wet weather and windy... these two are the greatest killer combined... I prefer the dry and wind-less yet chilled weather now...

To sum up our entire Eastern Europe, our last stop will be at Paris. As our schedules are little bit tight, we do not plan to visit much places but rather just visiting those well known attractions like
Arc de Triomphe, Tour Eiffel, Outlet, Louvre Pyramid, Galeries Lafayette and other shopping districts...

From Prague, we took Air France and the entire journey takes about 2 hours and we paid about $90 for the one way ticket...

Aerial view of Paris - The City of Love - pretty blank huh... I didn't expect it would be like this...comparing to what I saw over Vietnam, this one looks like under-develop eh! LOL

It is sunny here... Remember I said that I wore 3 pieces? At Paris, I only wear one piece for the start! But weather can be a headache...it turns colder later in the afternoon. The worse part is...the AirBnb we stayed, the water heater is hopeless! The entire apartment is hopeless! It's dirty and cold!

As for Paris, I wonder how many of you thinking that this city is full with magic (roll eyes). It is just a normal city with lots of normal looking building too...(just FYI)

As mentioned, this gonna be a rush trip and we waste no time. After we check in, dump our luggage, we head over Arc de Triomphe! Oh baby! This is monument is huge!

Funny thing happened here is, out of blue, I can't recall my phone passcode! I've been in plane, then train, on the road, under the road (subways) and I just suffered temporary memory loss! It takes me about an hour to recall my passcode!

From here, we walked over the shopping district... Imagine Pavillion in Kuala Lumpur or Orchard Road in Singapore, this district is many times bigger than what you already saw...

So, head over Champs Elysees and shop till you broke...

This photo is taken at the Champs Elysees where you have the Arc de Triomphe sit just right in the middle of the busy road. Both side of Champs Elysees housed all brands from middle to luxury range... You can find 5 stories of Louis Vuitton here or 2 stories Long Champ and many more...

One of the shopping centre you must visit I would recommend Galeries Lafayette. Its like Takashimaya in Singapore but way bigger and classic! Can you imagine, these building with the pink LED lighting are all owned by Lafayette...

A quick recce about the items that we needed to buy, we waste no time, we start walking to Louvre Museum. We did plan to visit Mona Lisa though, but we don't have such fate...maybe next time we will meet dear Mona baby...

For our dinner, we simply hop in random restaurant that offer the best price because...the one we intended to visit need to queue and the queue isn't short... (roll eyes)

After our dinner, we head back to our nest to recharge for tomorrow. We gotta wake up earlier as the Outlet that we are heading to is a bit far from where we stay. Present to you, the La Vallée Village, Paris.

We spent about 4 hours here and one of our friend rushing back to Singapore as they announced that they will ban entry for all no permit holders to Singapore due to the outbreak of Covid-19. Our shopping experience? We had a good time here...

After La Vallée Village, we hop over to Champs Elysees again to grab what we can't find at the outlet and then head over Tour Eiffel to mark the end of our Paris trip before head back to pack and go back to Singapore.

At Champs Elysees, you can get Five Guys' Milk shake...I had 2 despite the fact that I am lactose intolerance. But heck care...so I just grab and trying to spend all the cash I bring together. Also, we get some macaroon from Laduree. If you have time, please do take time to enjoy your high tea here as the interior is really nice. Since I'm running out of time, check out their webpage at this link (Laduree Paris) for more info and to take a look how it looks like.

May I present to you the first eye contact of Tour Eiffel.

I hand-held a time-lapse video and I did shared on my IG (Itsjerjer) on my Getaways Archive.

Thats how my 10 days and 9 night of Eastern Europe ends. As for TIPS when you're traveling to these countries and places, please check out my findings below,

The unground ( from top, it looks like 10 stories deep) isn't stuffy, the temperature isn't bone chilled, but manageable.

However, they are dirty and there's a little unpleasant smell going around the train...

Don't be surprise to see these homeless people "camping" in the subway... my advise, stay away from  them and LARGE group. We literally witnessed RIGHT BEFORE OUR EYES where a group of ladies from 30 - 40s surrounding and pressing a Mongolian looking guy to the side of the train and shout at him saying corona this and that and we just can't do anything as we are afraid too. Out of blue, a guy shouted and the ladies went away. According to that guy, these ladies are trying to pickpocket this Mongolian.

So guys, beware, stay alert, always check your belongings and ignore if is not related to you but you can do what you want at your own risk hor!

As we are making our way home, from far, I heard a big group of people shouting and singing out loud, in my mind, I knew it was trouble coming and I wanted take out my phone to record down but I didn't for the fear of bad things happen to me... As predicted, this large group of people are somehow teenagers mixes of teen and 20s...what they did to us?

Shout corona shit this and that while charging at me...with my RBF, I continue and ignore while rolling my eyes...(only God know how terrible, disgusted or even scared I am in that moment)

Yet, the best part about ending this journey is about to begin. The most and unforgiven experience was we was surround by 5-7 guys age around 40s ( mixes of skin colour). They purposely stand close to us and trying to grab our luggage when we are heading to airport in the train.

Since we are wearing mask, one of them asked me is all of you have corona...Why I even replied that we are completely healthy! WTF!!!

Are these people has nothing else better to do than taking advantages and bullying other? Jesus!

With God's grace, our nightmare end the moment we reached airport...Amen, we arrived safe and sound.

-THE END-
